About Tunely

Tunely is a clean, modern web application designed for people who love listening to global radio stations without the clutter of modern ad-heavy streaming websites.

We created Tunely with a single objective: to build the most minimalist and functional radio streaming directory possible. Most websites are bloated with tracking scripts, banner advertisements, cookie banners, and mandatory registrations. Tunely has none of these.

How it Works

Tunely runs a weekly automated sync pipeline written in Python. This sync pipeline queries the community database of Radio-Browser, filters out inactive or low-quality streams, transforms the metadata, and writes country-specific static JSON catalogs.

When you open Tunely, your browser loads these precompiled, lightweight static catalogs directly. The application performs no database calls and requires no heavy server logic, allowing it to load near-instantaneously even on slow networks.

Community Focused

Since we pull our data from the public directory of radio-browser.info, anyone can add or update station directories. If you find a broken stream, or want to add a new local station, you can submit it directly to their wiki database and it will be updated on Tunely in our next automated sync!
